Admission Policy

Laurel Convent Academy welcomes students who are eager to learn, grow, and excel in a nurturing educational environment. Admissions are conducted in a fair and transparent manner, following the guidelines established by the school administration.

Admission Procedure

Admissions for the Nursery class generally commence in the month of March each academic year. For all other classes, parents or guardians are required to obtain and complete the prescribed admission form available at the school office during designated working hours.

The completed admission form must be submitted along with the required documents for consideration.

Required Documents

The following documents must be submitted at the time of admission:

• Original Birth Certificate issued by the Hospital/Maternity Home and Municipal Authority.
• Aadhaar Card of the student.
• Three recent passport-size photographs of the student.
• Previous academic records (where applicable).
• Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school (for students seeking admission to higher classes).
• Certified copy of the Report Card or Scholar’s Register from the previous institution.

Admission to Higher Classes

Admission to classes other than Nursery will be granted based on:

• Availability of seats.
• Performance in the admission assessment/test.
• Review of previous academic records.

Students transferring from another recognized school must provide all necessary transfer and academic documents before admission can be confirmed.

Important Guidelines

• Admission will be granted only for the class applied for.
• No student shall be admitted to a class higher than the one specified in the Transfer Certificate.
• The decision of the Principal regarding admissions shall be final and binding.
• Full-term fees are applicable even in cases of late admission.
• Parents and guardians are expected to carefully read and comply with all school rules, regulations, and policies.
• Submission of the admission form does not guarantee admission until all requirements have been fulfilled and approval has been granted by the school authorities.
